I know what you're thinking. Oh my goodness, what a gorgeous kid. I know. I take some of the responsibility for that mug. Even though, if you were to ask his paternal grandfather, he would state that Javen's finally growing into his "Genest genes".So, Javen and I have been having a battle of wills with his hair. I love his hair. It's shiny, thick, wavy, blondish now that the summer is coming to an end. Gorgeous. But always in his face. And I love his face way more than his hair.
If this comes as a shock to any of you, I'm sorry. But it was time. Javen and I have an agreement. Short hair for school, and he can grow it out starting April, for the summer. It works for both of us. And look at THIS face. All of it. 100% face. Looking back at you and me. This is what we did tonight. Tell us (Javen's curious too), what do you think?

Oh MY GOODNESS JAVEN!!! I absolutely LOVE IT! I liked your long hair and I think it's an awesome idea to have it in the summer, you'll look all surfer dude and stuff :) But I am absolutley thrilled that we get to see your beautiful bright eyes and stunning smile for the winter.
